Thank you for choosing the AP-TB-01 portable turbidity meter. This instrument employs leading-edge technology with an integrated microprocessor, making it suitable for fast and accurate measurement in water solutions across institutes, industrial labs, and production fields.
Key Features and Performance:
• Microprocessor Based: Ensures fast and accurate measurements.
• ISO 7027 Standard: The meter utilizes the ISO 7027 measurement method.
• Wide Measurement Range: The device offers multiple ranges, capable of measuring turbidity from 0 up to 1000 NTU (0 ~ 19.99 NTU, 20.0 ~ 199.9 NTU, and 200 ~ 1000 NTU).
• High Accuracy: Provides accuracy of ± 3% reading + 1 digit when measurements are less than 500 NTU, and ± 5 % reading + 1 digit when measurements are greater than 500 NTU.
• Fast Response: Provides a measurement response in less than 10 seconds.
• User-Selectable Units: Units NTU, FTU, and EBC are changeable.
• Convenient Data Management: Features a memory function that stores and recalls up to 150 data points. The meter uses a Data Stored sign and an ordinal number to track stored readings on the display.
• Easy to Read: Equipped with a large LCD display (45 x 25 mm) for convenient reading.
• Power Management: Includes a low battery alarm sign and an auto shut off feature after 10 minutes of non-use. The unit requires DC 1.5V (UM4, AAA) battery x 4.
Operation and Calibration:
The AP-TB-01 is designed for easy use; simply fill the glass bottle with the sample solution, place it in the sample well (aligning the line on the bottle with the arrow on the meter), and press “READ” to obtain the measurement. The required sample size is 10 ml.
Calibration uses four standard solutions: CAL 1 (0.00 NTU), CAL 2 (20.0 NTU), CAL 3 (100 NTU), and CAL 4 (800 NTU). The calibration status indicator confirms which calibrations have been performed correctly.
