Regular cleaning with Bluelab pH Probe Cleaner and recalibration is recommended to maximise its life and maintain accurate readings. For highly abrasive media like soil or potting mix, or for heavy users (more than 50 insertions a week), weekly calibration is recommended. Never store the probe in RO (Reverse Osmosis), distilled, or deionised water, as pure water changes the chemistry in the reference, causing the probe to fail.
