The incubator features a robust, sturdy double-walled unit design. The inner chamber is constructed from high-quality Stainless Steel 304 (SS 304) or sometimes aluminum/stainless steel, depending on the model chosen, while the outer body is made of Mild Steel (MS) finished with durable epoxy powder coating.
Insulation is critical for maintaining stable internal temperatures and minimizing heat loss. A substantial gap between the two walls is filled with high-grade insulation material, such as glass wool (or 75mm thick high-grade glass wool in similar units), which effectively mitigates thermal transfer.
Precise Temperature Management:
Temperature control is managed by a Solid State Digital Temperature indicating controller (or Digital Temp. Controller cum indicator), often utilizing a PT-100 sensor for highly accurate measurements. Heating is provided by reliable heating elements, typically made of high-grade chrome plate nichrome wire. These elements may be positioned on three sides (bottom, left, and right sides) to promote gentle, even heating inside the chamber.
The standard operating temperature range for this laboratory-grade incubator is typically 5°C above ambient to 60°C.
Forced Air Circulation System:
To guarantee uniform temperature distribution, the ModelINCUBATOR is equipped with a forced air circulation fan (fan and motor arrangement) located at the bottom of the unit.
