The Digital Spectrophotometer Model 302 is designed to be an economical, reliable, rugged, and accurate instrument tailored for the spectrophotometric analysis of virtually any concentration. This Visible Spectrophotometer, manufactured by Electronics India (EI-DVI), operates across the wavelength range of 340 nm to 960 nm. It is an essential tool for scientific, analytical, and laboratory applications.
 
Core Functionality and Display:
 
The Model 302 provides output readings displayed on a 3 ½ Digit Bright Red LED Display. Users can read results directly in three modes: %Transmission (%T), Absorbance (Abs.), and Concentration (Conc.).
A key feature of the instrument is the Direct Concentration Facility, which simplifies analytical testing. The core optical system relies on a high-quality 600 line/mm Holographic Grating monochromator and a sensitive Silicon Photodiode detector.
 
Advanced Sample Handling (Model 302 Feature):
 
The Model 302 is specifically enhanced over the Model 301 by incorporating a 3-Position rapid change cuvette (Test Tube Holder) selector. This holder is designed to accommodate two cuvettes simultaneously, allowing for easy management of the blank, sample, or standard solutions during rapid analysis. The standard path length utilized is 10 mm.
