JAYANT Table Model Sieve Shaker (Cat. No. J-91)
Overview and Purpose
The JAYANT Table Model Analytical Sieve Shaker (Cat. No. J-91) is designed as an essential instrument for accurate screen analysis in laboratories and industries. It is employed in research and development, quality control of raw materials, and production monitoring. The unit features a robust and compact design, suitable for convenient table mounting.
Precision Sieving Mechanism
The J-91 operates using a heavy cast iron unit. Its motor actuates an eccentric weight, which generates a uniform vibratory motion on the sieve table. To ensure smooth operation and uniform motion, the sieve table is equally balanced and mounted on Helical Springs.
User Control and Operation
The instrument’s controls are located on the front panel, including an ON/OFF Switch and an Indicator Pilot Lamp Speed Regulator. The operator can adjust the variable amplitude (vibration) on the sieve table using the Speed Regulator. Sieving time is set using an Imported Mechanical Timer, which allows setting the required time from a minimum of 10 minutes up to a maximum of 60 minutes. Note that the timer is listed as optional in one source.
Application and Compatibility
This sieve shaker is suitable for Dry Sieving Only. It is capable of analyzing particle sizes in the range of 4 mm to 37 microns. The machine is designed to accommodate only JAYANT brand Test Sieves, fitting diameters up to 8 inches (200 mm).
