LUTRON
₹15,000.00
Product Overview:
The Lutron DT-2239A is a microprocessor circuit design, high accuracy, digital readout, light duty STROBOSCOPE/TACHOMETER. It utilizes a custom one-chip microcomputer LSI circuit and a crystal control time base, which provides extraordinary accuracy over a wide, dynamic range. The design is compact and features an impact plastic injection case with a plastic mirror type reflector. This model is certified with ISO-9001, CE, and IEC1010 standards.
Core Functionality and Applications:
This professional instrument is designed for both inspecting and measuring the speed of moving equipment using non- contact methods.
Ideal Uses:
• Inspecting and measuring the speed of moving gears, fans, centrifuges, pumps, and motors.
• General industrial maintenance, ensuring components are running correctly.
• Production and quality control monitoring on assembly lines.
• Laboratory testing and research.
• Educational purposes in schools and colleges for demonstrating strobe action.
Specific Industrial Applications:
The DT-2239A is well-suited for use in industrial, mining, shipbuilding, aircraft construction, cardboard manufacturing, automotive, and motor manufacturing environments.
Advanced Measurement and Inspection:
The meter measures the Stroboscopic Flash Rate in Flashes Per Minute (FPM) or rotational speed in Revolutions Per Minute (RPM), with an automated range selection feature.
Checking True Speed:
When checking rotational speed, it is crucial to ensure the strobe is flashing in unison (one to one) with the monitored object. Stroboscopes can also stop motion at harmonics (2:1, 3:1, 4:1, etc.). To confirm the true speed, adjust the dial until two images appear (which doubles the actual speed), then lower the flashing rate until a single, stationary image appears. This is the true speed.
Motion Analysis:
Once the actual speed is correctly identified, slowly turning the dial up or down creates a slow-motion effect, allowing for a complete visual inspection of the moving object during operation.
Flash Tube Technology and Performance:
The DT-2239A utilizes robust flash specifications for clear, precise readings:
• Flash Tube Type: Xenon lamp.
• Flash Color: Xenon white, 6,500 K degree.
• Flash Energy: 4 Watts-seconds (joules).
• Flash Duration: Approximately 60 to 1,000 microseconds.
• Beam Angle: 80 degrees.
