Overview and Core Functionality:
The Lutron HT-3006A and HT-3006HA are intelligent, combined instruments designed for highly accurate environmental measurement. This device seamlessly integrates a precision humidity meter and a versatile Type K/J thermometer into one heavy-duty, compact housing case, making it easy to carry out and operate. Utilizing a custom one-chip microprocessor LSI circuit, the meter assures maximum possible accuracy and provides essential special functions.
 
Advanced Sensor Technology:
The meter features advanced sensor technology for reliable, fast readings across a wide range of measurements.
 
• Humidity: The humidity measurement employs a high precision thin-film capacitance sensor, offering high precision and fast response time. This sensor’s performance does not depend on air movement past the probe.
 
• Ambient Temperature (via probe): The humidity probe has a built-in thermistor sensor for temperature measurement, characterized by a fast response time.
 
• Type K/J Thermometer: The integrated Type K/J thermometer includes built-in temperature linearity and a precision cold junction compensation circuit, ensuring high accuracy, especially for high-temperature thermocouple measurements.
 

•User Interface and Data Management: The HT-3006 series is built for easy reading and data handling in professional settings.

• Display: It features a super large 13 mm (0.5") LCD display with dual function capability, allowing the humidity and temperature values to be shown on the screen at the same time.
 
• Data Handling: Key features include the Data Hold function for storing the desired value on display and the ability to record and recall Maximum and Minimum readings.
 
• Settings: The temperature function allows users to easily select between Celsius (℃) or Fahrenheit (℉) using a push button on the front panel.
 
• Efficiency: To conserve power, the unit includes an auto shut-off function (or manual off by push button) and a built-in low battery indicator.
 
• Connectivity (HT-3006A): The instrument features an RS 232 PC serial interface for data output, facilitating connection for remote measurement and recording.
