The Lutron Model HT-306S is a professional, high-precision 4-in-1 Humidity/Thermometer meter designed for comprehensive environmental assessment. Built using a custom one-chip microprocessor LSI circuit, this instrument ensures maximum possible accuracy and reliable performance for specialized applications. The HT-306S is certified to meet international standards including ISO-9001, CE, and IEC1010.
 
Core Measurement Capabilities:
The HT-306S provides four essential measurements integrated into one compact device, making it versatile for field use:
1. Humidity (%RH): Utilizes a high-precision capacitance type sensor with a fast response time for accurate measurement of relative humidity.
2. Ambient Temperature: Measures surrounding air temperature directly via the built-in temperature sensor associated with the humidity probe.
3. Dew Point Temperature: This display value is calculated automatically from the measured humidity and ambient temperature values.
4. Wet Bulb Temperature: This display value is also calculated automatically based on the measured humidity and ambient temperature values.
Additionally, the meter functions as a one-channel Type K thermometer, providing an extended temperature measuring capability far exceeding the ambient temperature range, utilizing a standard 2 pin Type K socket for external probes.
 
Advanced Features and Design:
The meter is engineered for efficiency and ease of use in heavy-duty applications:
• Dual Display: The instrument features a large dual-function LCD display (46 mm x 28 mm) that simultaneously shows key measurements like humidity and temperature for easy readout.
• Data Handling: Includes a Data Hold function to freeze the current reading on the display, and Memory Recall capable of storing and recalling the Maximum and Minimum readings recorded.
• Selectable Units: Users can select and switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) measurement units for temperature.
• Automatic Compensation: The meter features automatic temperature compensation for the humidity function readings, ensuring accuracy across the operating range. Linear compensation is also provided for the full range of Type K temperature measurements.
• Portability and Durability: The HT-306S features a heavy duty and compact housing case, designed for easy carry and operation. Its dimensions are 131 x 70 x 27 mm (5.1 x 2.7 x 1.1 inches), and it weighs approximately 115 g (0.25 LB).
• Power Management: The unit is powered by a 006P DC 9V battery and includes a built-in low battery indicator. To conserve battery life, the meter can be defaulted to auto power off, or manually powered off via a push button.
 
Standard and Optional Accessories:
The HT-306S is supplied standard with the humidity probe and an instruction manual. Type K thermocouple probes are available as optional accessories (such as TP-01, TP-02A, TP-03, TP-04, and TP-05) to take advantage of the meter's wide temperature measurement capabilities.
