Product Description Melting and Boiling Point Apparatus With Silicon Oil Bath & Motorized propeller The SKY-1294 and SKY-1295 are Microprocessor Controlled Melting/Boiling Point Apparatuses designed for analysing both dark coloured and any coloured samples. These apparatuses utilise a cylindrical silicon oil bath made of high-temperature toughened glass with a capacity of about 200 ml. The oil bath has a Teflon cover with holes for capillaries and a 6mm test tube for boiling point determination. Instead of magnetic stirring, they are equipped with a high-quality Motorized propeller to ensure uniform temperature in the oil bath, which is especially beneficial at high temperatures where magnetic stirring beads can demagnetise. Both models offer glare-free front and rear illumination and a large magnifier for clear observation of the melting operation. The melting/boiling point reading can be held by activating a key and is protected from power failure until "RESET" is activated.
