The R-TEK 915B Digital Hygrometer is a reliable environmental monitoring device known for its large, clear display that simultaneously shows temperature and relative humidity. Manufactured by R-TEK, this black unit uses a "Built In standards" probe type to ensure consistent data collection. The device requires a 5V 1A power supply for operation.
High Precision Measurement
The 915B is engineered for precision across a wide operational spectrum. The temperature measuring range spans from -40°C to 80°C, and the humidity measuring range covers 0–99.9% RH. For detailed monitoring, the hygrometer offers exceptional resolving power: 0.1°C for temperature and 0.1%RH for humidity. The measurement accuracy at standard conditions (25°C) is tight, rated at ±0.3°C for temperature and ±2%RH for humidity (at 60% RH).
Customizable Monitoring and Alarm Functions
Users can access settings via the Menu key (MENU) to fully customize the device’s operations. The hygrometer allows for the setting of crucial alarm limits for both metrics:
• Temperature Alarm Limits: The upper limit can be set as high as 125°C (default is 80°C) and the lower limit is -40°C (default is -40°C).
• Humidity Alarm Limits: The upper limit is 99.9% RH (default) and the lower limit is 0% RH (default).
• System Settings: The device allows users to set the year, month, day, hour, and minute. The alarm function itself can also be switched ON or OFF.
Advanced Correction Capability
To ensure long-term accuracy and facilitate calibration, the 915B includes dedicated correction functionality accessible through the special function menu:
• Temperature Correction: Adjustable range from -10.0°C to 10.0°C.
• Humidity Correction: Adjustable range from -20.0%RH to 20.0%RH.
• The device also features a Factory Reset option to restore default parameters.
Design, Installation, and Components
The unit is designed for flexibility, suitable for placement as required. It features wall mounting holes for permanent installation and a swing table bracket for desktop use.
