Description ULT-185 Ultra Low Freezer 185L The ULT-185 Ultra Low Temperature Freezer is specifically designed for optimized cryopreservation and offers highly sensitive microprocessor control for precise temperature management down to -86°C. It features an internal volume of 185 liters and includes a 4" LCD display. The unit's efficient dual refrigeration system ensures fast temperature pull down, while efficient insulation with high core density reduces temperature loss. This insulation is CFC free polyurethane foam, measuring 150 mm on the sides, 300 mm on the back of the body, and 110mm on the door. The ULT-185 features audio visual alarms for temperature high/low, power failure, battery low, and door open. The door open alarm activates if the door is open for over one minute. An 8-hour rechargeable battery backup is provided for the alarm system and temperature recorder. Key features enhancing performance and ease of use include a quadruplicate step silicon rubber gasket for complete insulation, a hot line across the door assembly to prevent frost formation, and a Smart Handle with LED door closure indication. There are two independent internal foamed doors with plastic handles and 3 trays. For reliability, a Clever-Chip provides crucial backup to maintain temperature in the event of controller failure. The recommended voltage stabiliser for this unit is VS 06, operating on a 220-240 volts, 50 Hz, SINGLE PHASE supply. The external body is made from Powder Coated CRCA Steel, while the internal body uses S.S. 304 (AISI Grade, Non Corrosive, Non Magnetic). The noise level is less than 65 db(A). Additional features for monitoring and data include a Data Acquisition System that stores records of the last 24 hours and displays a temperature histogram, and optional DataSoft software for data analysis, reports, and remote alerts.
