Overview and Design:
The RLR-200 is part of the new range of highly efficient refrigerators from REMI, specifically designed for stringent storage applications within scientific and healthcare environments. This upright model provides reliable, energy-efficient refrigeration built for durability and performance.
The unit ensures uniform temperature throughout the chambers via an adequate forced air circulation system. The outer body is constructed of pre-painted Galvanised Iron (G.I.) which is corrosion-resistant. The inner chamber is made of pre-painted Galvanised Iron or medical-grade compression molded plastic. It utilizes PUF Insulation and CFC-free Refrigerant (134a) for environmentally conscious cooling.
Precision Temperature Control and Visibility:
The RLR-200 features a microprocessor-based control system for precise temperature management. A digital controller and digital LED display are provided for the display of internal temperature. This system is equipped with Hi-low temperature alarms (using a digital thermometer, PT100) to ensure the safety of stored materials.
For user convenience, the unit is supplied with a single lockable door featuring dual-pane glass for clear product visibility and convenient sample viewing without disturbing the internal temperature. Internal lighting further enhances visibility. The unit supports automatic defrosting with an evaporation tray, ensuring frost-free operation.

The RLR-200 operates at a low noise level of less than 55 dBA. It is supplied with rollers mounted for easy movability. For power security, the use of a suitable Voltage Stabilizer is recommended or supplied. An optional 1-hour external battery backup for the complete unit is also available. The unit comes with adjustable plastic-coated wire mesh shelves.
