• Preparation and Post-Use: Always remove the protection cap and rinse the electrode with clean water before and after each use. Wipe it dry and replace the protective cap once finished. Ensure the sensor cap is kept soaking wet when the meter is not in use.
• Calibration: Calibration is not required before every use but should be performed monthly. The meter supports 3-point auto calibration using standard pH 4.0, 7.0, and 10.0 buffer solutions. A screwdriver is provided for adjustments during calibration.
• Handling the Sensor: Do not touch or wipe the delicate surface of the inner sensor.
• Battery Replacement: Change the LR44 batteries when the digital display appears faded or starts flashing.
• Storage Conditions: Avoid exposing the instrument to excessive heat or direct sunlight. It should not be refrigerated or frozen.
• Immersion: Only immerse the sensor part of the instrument into the solution to prevent damage to the internal circuitry.
• Electrode Maintenance: If the electrode's performance becomes slow, gently polish it using the rough side of the provided sandpaper, holding it perpendicular to the electrode surface.
