Advanced Features for Superior Performance
• Dual Display with High Resolution: The large, multi-level LCD simultaneously displays pH and temperature readings with a high 0.01 pH resolution, ensuring clarity and ease of reading. An instability indicator disappears when a steady reading is obtained, guaranteeing result reliability.
• Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC): An exposed temperature sensor provides rapid and precise temperature-compensated pH measurements. This is critical for achieving high accuracy, especially when dealing with samples at temperature extremes. Temperature can be displayed in either degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit.
• Intuitive Operation: Operation is simplified to just two primary buttons: one for turning the meter on/off and another for entering calibration mode. A third button located in the battery compartment allows users to easily select the displayed temperature unit and adjust the automatic shut-off time.
• Enhanced Electrode Longevity: The pH electrode features a unique reference cell design with an extractable cloth junction. This allows users to pull a small portion of the cloth (approximately 1/8 inch) to expose a fresh surface, effectively clearing any clogs and extending the life of the pH electrode.
• Automated Calibration: Calibration is performed automatically to one, two, or three points using pre-programmed standard buffers (pH 4.01, 7.01, and 10.01). The meter automatically recognises and stores the calibration value once stability is reached.
• Battery Management: Displays battery percent level at start-up and includes a low battery indicator to notify users of remaining power, conserving battery life through user-selectable auto-off options (8 minutes, 60 minutes, or disabled).
