Advanced Features and Operational Functions:
Automatic Calibration: The meter uses an automatic, single point calibration set to 6.44 ppt. The recommended calibration solution is HI70038 (6.44 ppt). For best results, frequent calibration is recommended, at least once a month, and fresh solution should be used for each calibration.
    ◦ The meter automatically recognizes the solution when the probe tip is submersed $1.18 \text{ inches (3 cm)}$.
    ◦ Users can clear the calibration back to default settings via the setup mode.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC): Measurements are automatically compensated for temperature, functioning from $0.0 \text{ to } 50.0 ^\circ\text{C}$ ($32.0 \text{ to } 122.0 ^\circ\text{F}$). The measured temperature is shown on the secondary LCD.
Probe Preparation: The probe is shipped dry, and the protective cap should be removed before use. Users should rinse the probe with purified water before placing it in calibration solution or a sample. Users should also stir gently and wait for the stability tag to disappear when taking a reading.
Setup Customization: The meter allows the user to select the temperature unit ($\text{}^\circ\text{C}/\text{}^\circ\text{F}$) and the Auto-Off time (8 min, 60 min, or disabled) via the Setup button (default settings are $\text{}^\circ\text{C}$ and 8 min).
Design and Power:
Display: Features a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). At startup, the percent indication of the remaining battery life is displayed for one second.
Power Supply: Uses one CR2032 Li-Ion 3V battery.
Battery Life: Approximately 250 hours of continuous use.
Low Battery Indicator: A blinking battery indicator appears when the battery is running low (under 10%). When discharged, the meter displays "dEAd bAtt" for 2 seconds and turns off.
Environment: Operational environment is $0 \text{ to } 50 ^\circ\text{C}$ ($32 \text{ to } 122 ^\circ\text{F}$) with $\text{RH } 100% \text{ max}$.
Inclusions: Each meter is supplied with a CR2032 battery (1 pc.), Storage/Protection sleeve, Instruction manual, and a Quality Certificate. The calibration solution sachet (4 pcs.) is also included.
