The Microprocessor Based EC-TDS-Sal Meter Model 1602 is a solid state instrument designed for precise measurement of EC (Conductivity), TDS, Salinity, and Temperature. Developed by ENVIRONMENTAL AND SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS CO. (an ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFIED CO.), this instrument utilizes the latest microprocessor technology and advanced engineering techniques to ensure enhanced accuracy and reproducibility.
The system offers user-friendly prompts that guide the operator through the entire measurement process. Operation is streamlined using 8 soft touch membrane type keys.
Key Features & Technical Advantages
• Quadruple Measurement: Performs EC, TDS, Salinity, and Temperature measurements.
• Automatic Ranging (Auto Ranging Facility): Range selection is Automatic for Conductivity, TDS, and Salinity.
• High Resolution: Offers a resolution of 0.01 µS in the lowest Conductivity range and 0.01 ppm in the lowest TDS and Salinity ranges.
• Display: Features a 16x2 Line Alphanumeric LCD Display with Backlit for clear readings.
• Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC): Temperature Compensation is Auto/Manual and adjustable from 0 to 50°C.
• Customizable Parameters: Includes programmable Reference Temperature and Temperature Coefficient (Adjustable 0.1–4.0%). The Cell Constant is also adjustable (0.05–10.5).
• Data Logging: Storage facility allows retention of up to 90 samples. Stored results are maintained in memory even when the instrument is switched OFF.
• Printing Capability: Features a Centronics Interface for the attachment of any dot matrix printer, enabling the printing of stored results.
