The SC-6 PLUS is designed to fulfill critical standard storage conditions required for stability testing, including 25°C – 60% RH, 40°C – 75% M RH, and 30°C – 65% RH.
• Temperature and Humidity Control: The system uses a microprocessor controller with a capacitance type sensor for precise monitoring and control of temperature and humidity.
• Air Circulation: A powerful fan motor ensures forced air circulation to maintain uniform conditions inside the chamber within permissible limits.
• Heating and Cooling: Heating is provided by long-life Stainless Steel (SS) tubular heaters, while cooling is handled by a hermetically sealed Compressor using CFC-free refrigerant.
• Insulation: The unit features a unique thermal barrier design for better energy efficiency. Insulation consists of machine-filled CFC free PUF (polyurethane foam) to eliminate void pockets.

• Materials: The internal body material is Stainless Steel – 316 grade, and the external body material is Stainless Steel – 304 grade.
• Interior: The inner chamber features a rounded design for easy cleaning.
• Trays and Doors: The chamber includes adjustable trays and features an auto door closer with an attractive door profile and a Smart Handle with LED door Closure indication. The maximum weight carrying capacity of each tray is 30 Kg (uniformly distributed).
Monitoring, Data Logging, and Safety
The chamber offers advanced control systems with built-in data handling and safety protocols.
• Standard Display (LCD Version): The standard chamber uses a 4-inch attractive LCD display (large size for ease of reading) for the direct display of humidity and temperature. This display version includes memory for storage of up to 1000 records. Features include auto tuning of the controller, self-diagnosis for errors, and a histogram format of 24 hours temperature recording.
• Optional Display (TFT Version): An optional display uses a 7-inch big colour touch screen with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). This version provides memory for 1500 records and an Ethernet port.
• Data Output: Both versions include a Centronic interface to record temperature, humidity, date, and time via an attached Dot Matrix printer with adjustable print interval. Optional accessories include REMI “Datasoft” data acquisition software that complies with 21 CFR part 11 as per USFDA Guidelines.
• Safety Features: Safety mechanisms include a Visual Alarm for Power Failure, High temperature safety cut off, and an Overload cut off relay for the compressor. There is also a low water level alarm and power cutoff of the boiler tank heater, and a Time delay for compressor switch on. An Audio Visual Alarm alerts users if the door is open for over one minute, or if humidity/temperature variations exceed set parameters (Set Humidity ± 3% Rh, Set Temperature ± 1°C). The controller includes Battery Backup.
