Advanced Graphite Sensor Technology
Unlike standard testers that use stainless steel pins, the DiST 4 features an amperometric graphite electrode. Graphite sensors provide better repeatability because they do not oxidize, ensuring the distance and surface area between the pins remain constant over time. This design allows for more dependable results and a longer lifespan for the probe.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC)
Conductivity measurements are highly sensitive to temperature variations. The HI98304 includes an exposed temperature sensor that provides fast response times. The device automatically compensates for temperature changes from 0.0 to 50.0°C (32.0 to 122.0°F), ensuring your EC readings are accurate regardless of the environment.
User-Friendly Interface and Large LCD
The tester features a large, multi-level LCD that displays both the EC and temperature readings simultaneously. The display also includes helpful indicators for calibration status and stability. Operation is simplified with just two buttons: one for turning the meter on/off and another for entering the automatic calibration mode.
