The Eutech TDSTestr 11 is a reliable, dual-range Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) pocket tester designed for quick and accurate measurements in both laboratory and field environments. This instrument provides enhanced features and greater value, enabling it to measure a wide spectrum of dissolved solids from pure water to waste water. The tester offers selectable or auto-ranging options, providing direct readouts for easy, on-the-go testing.
Precision and Accuracy:
The TDSTestr 11 ensures accurate and reliable results, boasting an accuracy of ±1% Full Scale. It features Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) retained from original Eutech designs, operating effectively across a range of 0 to 50 °C (32 to 122 ºF).
A key feature is the Adjustable TDS Factor, allowing users to select the appropriate TDS factor from 0.40 to 1.00. This customization capability helps to distinguish various salt measurements, resulting in more accurate measurements tailored to specific sample media. Calibration is manual, utilizing 2 calibration points (one per range), and supports both single-point or multi-point calibration settings.
Durable and User-Friendly Design:
Built for demanding environments, the TDSTestr 11 features a rugged, anti-roll ribbed design ensuring a firm grip during use. The housing is waterproof to IP67 standards and, if accidentally dropped into water, the tester floats for easy retrieval.
The device incorporates a Large Dual-Display LCD Screen that is easy-to-read, providing simultaneous temperature readouts along with the TDS value. The display also shows the current mode, ATC status, battery level, and other diagnostics. Users can easily switch between °C and °F temperature units with a simple press of a button. A user-friendly ‘hold’ function allows measurements to be frozen for delayed recording purposes.
Maintenance and Cost Efficiency:
The TDSTestr 11 is designed for long-term use and lower operating costs thanks to its user-replaceable sensors. The convenient screw cap design makes sensor replacement easy and user-friendly. The sensor itself is built with a highly durable Valox® sensor casing and an industrial grade SS316 stainless steel sensor element, ensuring protection against harsh samples and superior chemical durability.
Advanced power management ensures the four 1.5 V ‘A76’ micro alkaline batteries last for more than 150 hours. Additionally, an Auto-Off feature automatically shuts the unit off 8.5 minutes after the last key press to conserve battery life. The meter also features non-volatile memory.
