The Lutron FG-5000A Force Gauge is a high-quality, professional measuring instrument designed for precise measurement of force during push (compression) and pull (tension) tests. Built with a microprocessor circuit and an exclusive load cell transducer, this gauge ensures high accuracy, repeatability, and resolution for reliable results. It offers a wide capacity measuring up to 5000 g (or 5 Kg).

• Measurement Modes: The instrument supports both tension and compression measurements (Push & Pull).
• Unit Selectability: Users can select between three kinds of display units: gram (g), ounce (oz), and Newton (N).
• Peak Hold Function: The meter includes a Peak Hold feature that freezes the maximum load value detected during a tension or compression measurement, ensuring that peak readings are not missed.
• User Controls: A Zero button allows for full capacity zero (tare) control capability and can operate in both normal measuring mode and "peak hold" operation. The display direction can also be reversed via a push button.
• Response Time: The user can select between a Fast response time (approximately 0.2 second) or a Slow response time (approximately 0.6 second).
• Durability and Interface: The device features over load protection (up to 30 kg max. capacity) and is designed for both handheld use and stand mounting, with mounting holes provided on the back case for easy installation on optional professional test stands. It also includes an RS-232 computer interface for data output.
