The Electronics India (EI) Model 1385 Microprocessor Flame Photometer is a professional-grade analytical instrument engineered for the accurate determination of specific metal ions. Utilizing the latest microcontroller technology, this photometer ensures enhanced accuracy and high reproducibility across various applications, including medical diagnostics and soil analysis.
This standard model is supplied complete with filters for Sodium (Na) and Potassium (K), and is capable of determining four elements in a single aspiration of the sample. Crucially, the Model 1385 incorporates advanced safety features such as automatic flame detection and gas cutoff.

The Model 1385 is designed with integrated safety and user convenience in mind:
• Automatic Gas Cutoff: The gas supply automatically shuts off in the event of a power failure, or if the flame accidentally goes out during operation, preventing potential gas accumulation hazards.
• Auto Flame Failure Detection: The instrument continuously monitors the flame, sounding an alarm after a few seconds if flame extinction is detected.
• Auto Ignition System: The flame is started safely and controlled electronically, offering operational convenience.
• User Interface: Operation is simplified using soft-touch membrane keys and an intuitive interface, with results displayed clearly on a 20 x 4 alphanumeric LCD display with backlit illumination.

The Microprocessor Flame Photometer Model 1385 offers robust calibration and data handling capabilities essential for reliable laboratory work:
• 5-Point Calibration: Non-linearity correction is provided via an automatic curve fitting software, allowing for comprehensive calibration up to 5 points for each element. The system can be calibrated with up to 25 standards of user choice (5 points for each element).
• Curve Fitting Techniques: Data processing ensures optimal results through sophisticated curve fitting techniques, including Least Square and Quadratic methods.
• Memory Storage: The instrument allows storage of multiple calibration curves and up to 10 setup configurations for different applications.
• Efficient Re-standardization: Once a full calibration is performed, the unit facilitates rapid daily verification through re-standardization using only a single standard, saving time and resources.
• Connectivity: Provision is available for the attachment of dot matrix printers or non-Windows HP LaserJet/InkJet printers via a Centronics parallel interface. An RS-232 interface is also available for computer connectivity (PC software sold separately).
