AQUASOL AMTDS02 Handheld Digital TDS Meter – Low Range Water Quality Tester:
The AQUASOL AMTDS02 is a robust, microprocessor-based handheld digital TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter engineered for fast, reliable, and accurate measurement of dissolved solids in liquids. This specific model is ideal for low-range water quality testing, offering a measurement capacity of 0 to 1999 PPM.
Product Overview:
The AMTDS02 functions by measuring the electrical conductivity of a solution, which is directly influenced by dissolved ionized solids such as salts and minerals. It then precisely converts this conductivity figure into an estimated TDS reading. This instrument is renowned for quickly ascertaining the measurement of total dissolved solids in various liquids.
TDS levels are critical indicators of water quality, affecting taste, health, and industrial efficiency. While a TDS level between 50-150 PPM is often considered excellent for drinking, the meter's ability to measure up to 1999 PPM allows for comprehensive testing across many water sources.
Key Features and Design:
The AQUASOL AMTDS02 incorporates several design elements focused on durability, convenience, and longevity:
• Advanced Measurement: It utilizes microprocessor technology to ensure fast, reliable, and highly accurate results.
• Durable Construction: The meter is protected by a waterproof and impact-resistant ABS casing with an ingress protection rating of IP 57 (a rating often associated with AQUASOL handheld meters, signifying strong protection against water and dust).
• Replaceable Electrode Module: An important feature that extends the life of the instrument and helps ensure long-term usability.
• User-Friendly Display: It features a large LCD display for reading convenience.
• Portability: The meter is lightweight (85g) and supplied in a protective carrying pouch, making it highly portable for field use.
• Easy Calibration: Calibration is simple, requiring Easy Single Point Calibration. The instrument is typically supplied in an attractive plastic case along with standard solutions for straightforward calibration.
Applications:
The AMTDS02 Handheld Digital TDS Meter is ideal for a wide array of water testing applications, particularly those requiring precise low-range TDS measurements (0 to 1999 PPM). This digital handheld meter is proficient for testing liquids including:
• Natural water and drinking water
• Treated water and wastewater
• Brine solution and seawater
• Soluble salt content in various liquids
