ATAGO Model DR-A1 Digital Abbe Refractometer:
The ATAGO DR-A1 is a robust and reliable digital Abbe refractometer designed to provide high-precision measurements in a laboratory setting. This instrument simplifies complex refractive index and Brix analysis by replacing analog graduation with an easy-to-read digital display, ensuring measurement ease and high reproducibility for any operator.
Key Features and Operation:
Digital Precision and Ease of Use The primary feature of the DR-A1 is its digital display, which directly indicates the measured value in either Refractive Index (nD) or Brix (%), along with the temperature. Measurement is achieved by simply setting the boundary line of refraction at the cross hairs within the refraction view. This digital operation removes the need for reading fine analog scales, enhancing accuracy and speed.
Wide Measurement Capabilities The DR-A1 is suitable for a diverse range of materials, including both liquid and solid samples such as glass, plastics, and films. It is widely applied across various fields, from basic research to quality control and product management, including food, beverage, and chemical analysis.
Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) To ensure reliable results regardless of minor temperature fluctuations, the refractometer features Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) across its operative range of 5 to 50°C.
Connectivity and Compliance The unit can be connected to external devices like a digital printer (optional) and a computer via RS-232C communication system. ATAGO refractometers are designed and manufactured in Japan and comply with stringent quality standards including HACCP, GMP, and GLP systems.
Important Note on Dispersion:
Please be aware that the dispersion value cannot be measured with the DR-A1.
