It serves as the plastic body counterpart to the MASTER-M model, offering corrosion resistance critical for long-term use with harsh liquids. This handheld instrument is built for precision measurement of low-to-medium concentration samples, providing readings across a 0.0% to 33.0% Brix scale.

Corrosion-Resistant Plastic Body:
The MASTER-PM features a robust plastic body, often utilizing Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). This construction is specifically chosen for its ability to resist the corrosive effects of salty and acidic substances, ensuring longevity and reliable performance when measuring condiments, saline solutions, and certain industrial fluids.
Wide Range of Applications:
This refractometer is an essential tool across several industries for concentration control and quality stability. Common applications include measuring:
• Food & Beverage: Fruit juices, soft drinks, various sauces, soy sauce, seasoning in liquid form, soups, and low-sugar jams and spreads.
• Eating Out: Checking the concentration of ramen soup, bowl sauces, and Mentsuyu sauce.
• Industrial/Chemical: Monitoring water-soluble cutting oils and cleaning agents.
Temperature Management Note (Manual Compensation):
The MASTER-PM is designed to be the most affordable type in the series. Please note that this model is not equipped with the Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) feature. The temperature compensation must be performed manually to ensure accurate results, particularly when the measurement temperature fluctuates. For applications requiring automatic temperature management, models like the MASTER-Pα or MASTER-PT are recommended.
Hygienic and User-Friendly Design:
The MASTER series features a smooth, contamination-free grip design, minimizing the potential for samples or food particles to get trapped and encouraging cleanliness. Its simple operation requires only 1 to 3 drops of sample for measurement.
