Uniform heating across the bath is ensured by an in-built magnetic stirrer, with the stirrer speed being controllable via a front knob. An electronic controller allows for precise adjustment of the silicon oil-bath heating rate.
Digital Display and Resolution
Model 935 offers high resolution and clear visibility. It utilizes a 4 Digit, 7-Segment LED Display. The digital readout provides a high resolution of 0.1 °C, enabling precise recording of the melting range.
Observation and Operation
The apparatus features a large magnifier and a glare-free background illuminator to facilitate stain-free observation of the sample as it melts inside the capillary tube.
Operational control includes:
• Start Switch: Used to initiate the measurement of the melting point.
• Stop Switch: Used to halt the measurement once the sample has melted, with the display showing the last temperature recorded.
• Clear Switch: Used to reset the display reading to zero.
