Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum temperature range of the REMI RDHO-80 Oven?
The REMI RDHO-80 Dry Hot Air Oven features a wide temperature range from RT+10°C up to 300°C. Controlled by a high-precision Microprocessor PID system, it provides an accuracy of ±1°C, making it ideal for high-temperature drying and material moisture evaporation.
How does forced convection improve drying in the RDHO-80?
Forced-air convection in the RDHO-80 ensures uniform distribution of air temperature throughout the 80-liter chamber. This prevents thermal stratification, ensuring all materials are dried evenly regardless of their shelf position.
Is the REMI RDHO-80 suitable for large biomass samples?
Yes, the RDHO-80 offers a generous 80-liter chamber volume. Its powerful 1550W heating element and high-temperature capability make it specifically designed to evaporate all moisture contents from bulk biomass or industrial materials efficiently.
Does the RDHO-80 oven include a timer for automated testing?
The RDHO-80 includes a built-in timing function ranging from 1 to 9999 minutes. This allows researchers to set precise drying cycles, ensuring the oven shuts down or alerts the user once the specific protocol is complete.
What are the electrical requirements for the RDHO-80?
The REMI RDHO-80 Dry Hot Air Oven operates on a standard 220V, 50Hz single-phase electrical supply. It is designed for compatibility with standard laboratory power outlets while providing industrial-grade heating performance.
