Product Description Overview and Application:
The REMI Deep Freezers, model RQV-200 Plus, are high-quality vertical deep freezers specifically engineered for the reliable storage of sensitive biological samples. They are widely utilized across demanding environments such as biotech, life science, clinical research, and medical & pharmaceutical facilities for preserving specimens, serums, vaccines, and blood components.
This 200 Litre upright model features a compact footprint and is designed to ensure the integrity of critical materials. The RQV-200 Plus is available in both Standard and GMP versions to meet diverse regulatory needs.
Performance and Temperature Control
The RQV-200 Plus uses a Microprocessor Controller for precise temperature management. The unit maintains temperatures as low as $-20^\circ \text{C}$. For applications requiring colder storage, the unit is capable of achieving temperatures up to $-40^\circ \text{C}$ when operated in an air-conditioned (AC) room.
Key features ensuring reliable performance include:
• Hermetically sealed Compressor utilizing CFC-free refrigerant.
• Unique thermal barrier design contributing to better energy efficiency.
• Time delay for compressor switch-on and an overload cut-off relay for compressor protection.
Enhanced Safety and Monitoring
The freezer is equipped with comprehensive monitoring features and alarm systems to guarantee the safety of stored contents.
The standard display is a $1 \text{ inch}$ (or $2.54 \text{ cm}$), 7 Segment, Big Size LED display, which shows the set and process temperature values.
Safety features include:
• Audio Visual Alarm for Door Open: Activates if the door remains open for over one minute.
• Visual Alarm for Power Failure: Alerts users immediately upon power loss.
• Alarms for high/low set parameters and sensor failure alarm.
• Electrical circuit breaker is included for additional protection.
The freezer also features an auto door closer mechanism and a Smart Handle with LED door closure indication.
Robust Construction and Insulation
The RQV-200 Plus is built using durable materials suitable for rigorous laboratory use:
• Internal Body Material: Constructed from Stainless Steel – 304 grade for Standard Models. For GMP Models, Stainless Steel – 316 grade is used. The inner chamber is rounded for easy cleaning.
• External Body Material: Features Powder Coated CRCA Steel for Standard Models, or Stainless Steel – 304 grade for GMP Models.
• Insulation: Achieves excellent thermal efficiency through machine-filled, CFC-free polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation, measuring $80 \text{ mm}$ minimum for both the body and the door to eliminate void pockets and minimize heat loss.
• Storage: The freezer includes 2 adjustable trays, each having a weight carrying capacity of $30 \text{ Kg}$ (uniformly distributed).
