REMI Model 20ML PLUS Magnetic Stirrer: High-Capacity Laboratory Mixing:
The REMI 20 ML Plus Magnetic Stirrer is a powerful and robust laboratory instrument specifically designed for efficiently mixing large volumes of liquids up to a maximum capacity of 20 litres (H₂O). This model represents the next generation of REMI Magnetic Stirrers, incorporating advanced technology for precise, repeatable performance in demanding laboratory and industrial environments.
Performance and Advanced Technology:
The 20 ML Plus Magnetic Stirrer utilizes new stirring technology and advanced features suitable for a wide array of demanding applications. It is equipped with a maintenance-free brushless DC motor that delivers consistent and powerful performance across the entire speed range. This ensures the stirrer maintains a constant speed even when facing changes in the load or viscosity of the solution being mixed.
The instrument is controlled using advanced microprocessor technology, guaranteeing high accuracy and reliable, repeatable results.
Precise Control and Usability:
Control and monitoring of the mixing process are highly precise and user-friendly:
• Digital LCD Display: A clear, backlit LCD screen monitors both the set and actual stirring parameters, allowing for immediate visualization of performance and precise control. The speed is adjustable with a resolution of 1 RPM.
• Repetitive Processes: The model features a last-parameter recall function, making it ideal for standard operating procedures or repetitive mixing tasks.
• Safety Features: Although this is a non-hotplate model, it includes the unique safety control system features found across the Plus series, such as a settable safe temperature limit to avoid potential overheating, and monitoring functions for ultimate operator safety.
Durable Construction and Capacity:
The high-volume capacity of 20 Litres makes the 20 ML Plus an essential tool for scaled-up operations. The stirrer features a substantial and durable construction suitable for large vessels. The top plate is manufactured from high-quality Stainless Steel, offering a spacious work surface (300 x 350 mm) and providing excellent chemical resistance and ease of cleaning.
Applications:
The high capacity and robust engineering of the 20 ML Plus make it suitable for scaling up experimental work and preparing bulk solutions across various fields:
• Scientific Research: Essential for preparing large volumes of reagents and scaling up complex experiments.
• Industry and Agriculture: Ideal for applications requiring large-batch mixing and rigorous quality control processes.
• Healthcare and Medicine: Used extensively for the preparation of media, buffers, and other critical solutions in clinical and diagnostic laboratories.
