REMI RLR-400 Laboratory Refrigerator (400 Litres, 1°C to 10°C):
Product Overview:
The REMI RLR-400 Laboratory Refrigerator is a specialized cooling unit from the REMI RLR series, engineered for the safe storage of temperature-sensitive materials, reagents, kits, and samples within research, medical, and scientific environments. This model features a substantial 400-litre capacity, suitable for the exacting requirements of pharmacies and laboratories, including those specializing in Pathology, Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, Serology, Genetics, and Diagnostics. It is particularly recognized as a biological refrigerator designed for efficient vaccine storage.
Precision Temperature Control and Display:
The RLR-400 is equipped with an advanced microprocessor-based electronic controller for precise temperature management and setting. The unit is capable of maintaining a temperature range from 1°C to 10°C, though it is commonly highlighted for precise controls within the critical 2°C to 8°C range, making it ideal for vaccine storage. The internal temperature is monitored by a digital thermometer (PT100) and displayed clearly on a wide digital LED display.
Safety and Compliance Features:
Safety is paramount, and the RLR-400 includes essential monitoring systems to protect stored contents. These features include:
• Hi-low temperature alarms to alert users of deviations.
• A lockable door made with dual-pane glass for security and clear product visibility.
• An on/off switch with a power-on indicator.
• The system is supplied with a suitable Voltage Stabilizer (VS-02 is recommended).
• The unit uses CFC-free Refrigerant (134a), aligning with environmental responsibility.
• The product is noted to be CE certified and USFDA Compliant.
• For uninterrupted operation, an external 1-hour battery backup is available as an optional feature for the complete unit.
Durable Design and Construction:
Built as an upright model, the RLR-400 boasts durable, corrosion-resistant construction designed for the laboratory environment.
• Outer and Inner Chamber Material: The outer body and inner chamber are constructed from pre-painted Galvanized Sheet (G.I.), ensuring corrosion resistance. The inner body may also be described as being made of medical-grade compression molded plastic.
• Cooling System: It features Frost Free cooling (Automatic defrost) with an evaporation tray. Uniform cooling throughout the chambers is maintained by adequate forced air circulation.
• Insulation: High-quality PUF Insulation is used to maintain thermal stability and energy efficiency.
• Storage: Internal storage consists of four adjustable, plastic-coated wire mesh shelves/baskets.
• Mobility: Rollers are mounted on the unit for easy movability.
• Noise Level: The operation maintains a low noise level, typically less than 55 dBA.
