Sartorius MA35M-230N Infrared Moisture Analyzer | 35g Capacity, 1mg Readability
Overview and Core Technology
The Sartorius MA35M-230N is the ideal basic model moisture analyzer designed for the quick and reliable determination of material moisture content in liquid, pasty, and solid substances. Utilizing the precise thermogravimetric method, the MA35 provides highly accurate results within minutes, serving as a rapid, time-saving alternative to conventional drying ovens. Sartorius’s extensive experience in moisture analysis guarantees consistent and reliable measurements combined with high user-friendliness.
Rapid and High-Precision Measurement
This analyzer is engineered to deliver fast results, often completing measurements in just 10–20 minutes. Quick and uniform heating of the sample is achieved using an Infrared dark radiator, consisting of two powerful metal tubular-shaped heating elements generating 360 watts of power. The measurement accuracy is provided by a specialized Sartorius weighing system, optimized for use in high temperature ranges, ensuring reliable determination of moisture content.
Rugged Design and Simple Operation
The MA35 features a compact and rugged design built with long-lasting components that are impervious to vibration and dirt. This durability ensures reliable measurement results even when used in harsh production environments, incoming goods inspection, or busy laboratories.
The operation is designed to be simple and intuitive. A key feature is Sartorius’s unique, fully automatic endpoint determination. This continuous monitoring of the drying cycle eliminates the need for time-consuming programming of a switch-off criterion. The device automatically concludes the measurement when the sample weight becomes constant and no additional loss of weight is detected despite heating. For increased flexibility, alternative shut-off criteria are available, including manual switch-off or allotted time settings ranging from 0.1 to 99 minutes.
Versatile Applications
The MA35 is perfectly suited for uniform measuring tasks and repetitive measurements in daily routine laboratory applications, quality control, and process monitoring. It is widely used across various industries, including food and beverage, chemistry, and manufacturing, and can reliably perform measurements even in challenging environmental conditions such as wastewater treatment plants or biogas facilities.
