AQUASOL AP-TB-01 MICROPROCESSOR TURBIDITY METER:
Product Overview:
Turbidity, defined as the cloudiness or haziness of water caused by large numbers of suspended particles, is a critical parameter for evaluating water quality across numerous industries. Relying on traditional laboratory assessments for turbidity can lead to delays and may not accurately reflect real-time conditions. The Aquasol APTB01 Digital Turbidity Meter offers an ultra-portable and reliable solution for accurate onsite turbidity monitoring, providing instant, representative data essential for process control and water quality evaluation. This instrument is designed with leading-edge technology and an integrated microprocessor, making it suitable for fast and accurate measurement in water solutions for institutes, industrial labs, and production fields.
Key Features:
• Microprocessor-Based Technology: Ensures precise, consistent, fast, and accurate measurements.
• ISO 7027 Standard: Utilises the specified ISO 7027 measurement method.
• Wide Measurement Range: Capable of measuring turbidity up to 1000 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Units).
• High Accuracy: Provides high accuracy, especially vital for regulatory monitoring.
• Data Storage: Features a memory function capable of storing and recalling up to 150 data points.
• User-Selectable Units: Units NTU, FTU, and EBC are easily changeable.
• Portability: Compact, lightweight (168 g including battery), and battery-operated for convenient field use.
• Auto Shut-Off: Includes an auto shut-off feature after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve power.
Advanced Measurement Technology:
The Aquasol APTB01 uses sophisticated technology combined with an integrated microprocessor to deliver reliable results rapidly. The instrument adheres to the ISO 7027 standard, which guides the measurement method used.
The meter offers a wide measurement range divided into three sub-ranges: 0 ~ 19.99 NTU, 20.0 ~ 199.9 NTU, and 200 ~ 1000 NTU. The response time for obtaining a measurement is swift, taking less than 10 seconds.
Accuracy details are defined by the reading level:
• Measurements under 500 NTU offer an accuracy of ± 3% reading + 1 digit.
• Measurements greater than 500 NTU offer an accuracy of ± 5 % reading + 1 digit.
Simple Operation and Calibration:
The APTB01 is engineered for user convenience and reliable field testing. Operation is straightforward: simply fill the glass sample bottle with 10 ml of the solution, place it in the sample well (ensuring the line on the bottle aligns with the arrow on the meter), and press “READ” to display the measurement.
The meter supports automatic calibration, simplifying the maintenance process. Calibration uses four standard solutions: CAL 1 (0.00 NTU), CAL 2 (20.0 NTU), CAL 3 (100 NTU), and CAL 4 (800 NTU). A calibration status indicator confirms which calibrations have been performed correctly. The large LCD display (45 x 25 mm) ensures convenient reading.
Applications:
The APTB01 combines precision, portability, and ease of use, making it the ideal choice for professionals who require accurate turbidity measurements across various environments, including:
• Drinking Water Quality Monitoring
• Wastewater and Effluent Testing
• Industrial Process Water Assessment
• Environmental and Field Testing
• Laboratory Verification
