Product Description: Remi Model RQG-126/D Mechanical Geared Stirrer (15 Litre Capacity):
Overview and Application:
The Remi Model RQG-126/D is classified as a medium-duty geared stirrer designed specifically for a broad spectrum of applications requiring low speed and high torque for the efficient mixing of viscous materials and fluids. This stirrer is engineered to elevate laboratory mixing processes with unparalleled precision and reliability. It is commonly used in routine laboratory work, quality assurance (QA) analysis, research and development, and general sample preparations.
High-Torque Geared Drive System:
The RQG-126/D utilizes a powerful PMDC (Permanent Magnet DC) motor. The integration of a geared mechanism significantly enhances torque transmission, allowing for smooth and consistent operation, particularly when handling challenging liquids. This model is explicitly built for stirring high viscosity liquids, including specific fluids such as paints, gear oil, heavy oils, and lubricants. The motor ensures reliable performance even during continuous use.
Precision and Design Features:
This stirrer is designed with user-friendly features for versatility and reproducibility:
• Digital Speed Control: The unit includes a digital RPM indicator, which ensures uniform speed control and provides clear speed readouts. This is highly valuable for applications where process validation and repeatability are required.
• Adjustable Shaft: A key feature of the PMDC geared models is the hollow shaft in the output spindle, which permits easy length adjustment of the stirring shaft to accommodate different vessel heights and depths.
• Impeller Configuration: The standard stirrer is supplied with either a 4 Cross Blade impeller or a Radial Turbine impeller.
• Durable Construction: The stirring shaft is typically made of Stainless Steel 316 (SS 316), and the retort rods are constructed from SS 304. The entire unit boasts a rugged design for durability and longevity in harsh environments.
